This song... I encountered it by chance tonight, and it fits my mindset at the moment. I'm done shutting myself off. I'm better and happier when I'm open. It's a hard habit to break, but things haven't been working so well for me lately, and I'm trying. I've been doing too much thinking and introspection lately, and I'm feeling a bit disillusioned. I liked being innocent and immature, and not having to know or think about serious things, but I think understanding the issues I've been having will help me deal with them, so it's good in the long run. I turn 20 this summer, it's time to grow up.
